DETAILS: 2005 BMW R1200GS bought from career "Iron Butt" rider who put 115k miles on it in 3 years - excellent condition. I have put a few thousand on her without incident, and have also added and replaced a number of items listed below. It runs, stops and handles perfectly. There is nothing to fix on the bike - everything functioning properly. This is a very presentable bike with only a few cosmetic flaws as noted below. New on the bike in the last 24 months: Complete new exhaust system - old one had crack in the header pipe. New (BMW standard) front and rear shocks. Sargent seats front and passenger. PIAA 520 amber fogs professionally installed and swiched properly. Ultra bright white H7 high and low beams. New stock windscreen. Replacement drive shaft with low miles. Recent maintenance: Alternator belt. Performance air filter. Rear BMW brake pads and rotor. Replaced both primary coils. Full tune, adjustments and maintenance check by Boxerworks - $600. Gear oil change rear end and transmission. Oil change at 119k - mobile one and filter. Absolutely no leaks on this bike.. ABS unit replaced 2-3 years ago. Equipment: Spoked wheels. Heated grips. ABS servo assisted brakes. Stock vario side bags (no locks - they can be bought easily for $50 and are easy to key to the bike's key system (google vario 1200 locks or call Bob's BMW.) Larger side stand foot. Title - clear FL title. Cosmetics: Left and right front panel is scuffed from ty-downs on long trailer ride. Some light scratches and nicks consitent with a bike that is ridden. From 5 feet away the bike appears in excellent cosmetic condition.
