Up for auction is my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am Smokey and the Bandit Edition with the L80, 6.6 (403), and an accompanying matching trailer. This is an original unrestored black on black vehicle that has been extremely well preserved. The car has less than 38,000 miles on it. I am the third owner and the second owner was a close family friend that was an excellent mechanic who took extremely good care of it. He was also the person who built the unique, one of a kind, matching trailer. The trailer is actually another Pontiac Trans Am that was wrecked in the front, and is now converted to a pull behind trailer that has a snap cover for protection. The small doors actually open to a back seat that you can ride in. The trunk also opens for additional storage. It gets a lot of attention and is fun to take to parades or car shows. The car and trailer have always been garaged. Both are rust free. All 6 tires are new. The exterior and interior are both in original and great condition and do not need any work. The paint and shine are original to the vehicle. The are no cracks in the dash and no tears in the seats, as you can see by the pictures. The radio is original and the power antenna works. The power trunk release works and opens to the original carpet and inflatable spare with cartridge. The car has its original GM Fisher T-top bags. The A/C works and blows cold. The cruise control works and holds a steady speed. It has rear defrost, power windows and power locks, which all work fine. The suspension sits nice and level, and drives like a new car. The paperwork that is included with the car is the original window sticker and the original bill of sale. This car and trailer combination is a real looker and has won many awards at car shows.
