Here's your chance to own a legendary 4 wheel drive truck cheap. From the drug cartels in South America to the UNITED NATIONS all over the world, the FJ60 version of the Toyota LAND CRUISER is THE vehicle of choice. It will run on just about anything and they NEVER QUIT! This engine(2f) holds 9 quarts of water cooled oil! 500000 miles is not uncommon, do the research and you'll see! Let me start by telling you what I know is wrong with this truck. The previous owner converted the AC to 134A and it at least needs freon maybe more. The compressor is not locked up because it did come on at one time. The front driver side seat belt does not retract/work properly. The front passenger side turn indicator lens is missing. The horn is intermitent. The tachometer is sometimes intermitant as well, I was told it was a bad ground but never bothered with it as it's not terribly important. The drivers side seat fabric is worn out but the front passenger side and the rear bench are in good to excellent shape, there are seat covers on the all of the seats. The rear gate does NOT stay up on its own. The truck has some frame and body rust as is common with these vehicles. I bought this truck from an architect that had spent $6000.00 dollars on body work and when he was done one of the spring mounts broke. We re-welded and reinforced the mount and my kids and I have been driving it ever since. Although we didn't do much off road driving in it we never found a situation it couldn't get us out of. Whether it was a foot of snow or a couple of feet of water. It has mounted on front a WARN M8274($1500-$2000new) Winch! There's no better winch period! It has 150 feet of aircraft cable on it and there just isn't much you can't drag it out of. It has two(2) batteries so no need to worry about the winch killing the battery even if the engine is off. It has a mallory HI-Fire coil and pointless distributor/ignition. It has Dunlap 32 X 11.50 tires with maybe 40-50% tread left. It has a class 3 hitch(no ball or arm included in sale).It also has a 3"(I think) lift. It has the TOYOTA original tool kit in it. The truck has some rust coming back, the drivers side floor board is a bit on the thin side as well as the rear bumper. This truck runs GREAT! My kids still drive it and don't want me to sell it. It's stored inside and only get's driven when they are home from college, it's time for someone else to enjoy! Maybe that's YOU! I have represented this truck as honestly and fairly as I can, however, it is 28 years old! I am selling it "AS-IS WHERE IS" with no warranties or guarantee as to it's safety or drivabilty.
