Vehicle Detail
1984 Jeep CJ7 w/304 (American Motors) V8. Frame Off Restoration I purchased this jeep in 1995 with the plan to restore it and use as a beach jeep. 17 years later, my loss of interest is your gain. This is a total frame off restoration that has less than 25 Miles. It has been in a heated garage since completion in 2009. The frame was blasted, etched and painted with POR 15 Rust Preventative Paint. All new bearings, wheel hubs and brakes with stainless steel brake lines. The 3 speed transmission was rebuilt with all new seals and bushings. The 304 V8 crate engine has a new Edelbrock 4 brl carb, accel ignition and wires, stainless braided hoses, painless wiring system. NEW Flowmaster muffler, Ranchero shocks, 6” lift greaseable shackles. NEW Besttop Aqua Bucket seats, All stainless steel hardware and trim throughout including all nuts and bolts. The body has had new side panels with perfectly welded seams, Floorboards are original with no holes in excellent condition and is painted Sunrise Yellow. THIS JEEP HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST! ANYWHERE! Also included are 4 - 33x12 BF Goodrich Radial T/A (Not New, currently on truck), 5 - 31x10 Baja Radials (4 + Spare), 2 Bikini Tops, Soft Top and Soft Full Doors (Not New) and Soft Half Doors. Also have hardtop but it is damaged but repairable. There are a few minor finishing issues: There is no sound system. Gas Gauge doesn’t work (All new floats and sender installed) May be a simple grounding issue. Original steering column is a little clanky but works fine. There is no back seat. Runs great, but has been sitting in garage too long. Needs to be used and have some fresh fuel. (Tank has stabilizer added.) This Jeep is 99% ready to be a show winner. My loss of interest is your gain!
