The previous owner loved this VW Golf GTI, and it's evident in every detail. Offered this week is a beautiful example of the Golf GTI VR6, in beautiful black with black leather interior. This GTI has been meticulously cared for, well maintained , and very gingerly used. It is in beautiful condition inside and out, and runs virtually as new. The original finish is in remarkably good condition, and shines very well. Without question, this car spent its life in a garage, as this color is often quick to fade if kept in the sun. There are two small bubbles on the rear tail gait as I show in the pics. The lights, trim and mirrors are all very clean and undamaged by exposure, and imperfections such as dings, scratches and scuffs are at a minimum. There is not a hint of corrosion to be found on the body or underneath. Beautiful factory alloy wheels are sporting fresh radials, and composite headlights with integrated fog lights look sporty and aggressive at the front. This car is stunning to look at, and gets attention. Inside this car is far cleaner than most, with a dashboard that's untouched by sun damage with no cracks, and leather seats in good condition front and back with no appreciable wear. Mechanically, this car is in excellent condition, and you can feel its impeccable and comprehensive maintenance to the core. It's very fast for such a substantial coupe. The 2.8l 6-cyl engine fires right to life and runs smoothly, delivering perfect oil pressure and operating temperature across the rev band. The accessories operate quietly and well, with the alternator keeping the battery at level charge and the AC compressor providing excellent cooling inside the cabin. The power assist steering is smooth with excellent road feel, and the brakes perform perfectly, stopping the car smoothly and confidently with no pull or fade. The engine is very clean inside, and there is no sludge in the motor or under the cap - a testament to the multitude of oil changes. Our mechanic routinely flushed and changed the engine fluids, and passed the car on a multi-point safety inspection with very high reviews. The fresh radials provide a quiet and smooth ride with perfect tracking, and the spare is unused and properly inflated. The suspension handles bumps and corners with impressive grip and a smooth ride, and this coupe has a very sporty feel going down the road. They don't come any tighter or cleaner.If you are looking for safe and solid luxury transportation with lots of style and leg room, this would be an excellent choice. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $250.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
