FOR SALE 1966 BUICK ELECTRA 225 CONVERTIBLE. I have a 1966 Buick Electra 225 convertible that needs restoration. The car runs and drives good but would get it checked out before putting it on the road. The last time it was on the road was 1995. Its been sitting in a shed for some time. The motor sounds great and the automatic trans shifts good. It has the 401 nailhead in it and has tons of power. Also power windows and power seats. The top will work but it will need new fuses. The guy I bought it from showed me the top working but since its been sitting here I must have blown a fuse or something because it doesn't even try. It does work and is for sure only a fuse or loose wire. It does have a solid frame aside from the floors having holes in them. The trunk also could use some patching. The body is pretty solid aside from the lower quarter panels behind the door. They will need some body work. The interior is all there but should be redone if your going to restore this car. I have a new carpet {black} that will be included with the car. I bought the Electra because I already have a 62 that I am also now trying to sell since they are both just taking space. This is a very rare buick and is very complete. This buick needs a new home. It does need restoration and is priced accordingly. I have a clean title with the car and a few extra parts in the trunk. I do have both skirts for the car but one is in the trunk. I took it off to clean the rear tire and never put it back on. I also have the door handle for the drivers door. The top isn't in the best shape either but will work until you can get a new one. I am what you would call car rich wallet poor. I love these old buicks but bills love me more.
