Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1996 Chevy Tahoe that I have owned for the last 10 yrs. In that time, I think I have put about 16000 miles if that on it. I had bought it out of Las Vegas Navada and had it brought up to Michigan for my wife. It hasn't seen a winter since I bought it and the wife thought it was to big for her to drive. The person I bought it from, bought it off his father in Illinois, I think. So it has seen some snow and but spent most of its life time in storage. I think its only had tags on it 5 of the years of the 10 years I've owned it. All I ever really used it for was halling my boat up to the cabin. That being said, I just put tags on it, got it out and backed my boat down the drive and a tree fell on my 23' Liberator. So I'm selling the a the Tahoe now, since the boat is junk! The body is in awsome shape. There isn't anything I can think of that is wrong with the body. I just put a new pigtail on the back, 4 new shocks, new Battery, new power stearing line and wiper blades. Runs Great never had any real problems, put a new fuel pump on it about 4000 miles ago. The 33" tires still have about 60% tread left on them, they are off one of my old trucks. I put them on it about 7 yrs ago. I love BFG tires but never get them sipped. Could use a set of brakes I think, the ABS still works good. Everything still works good but the AC could use to be charged and the door remote still works. Now the seats are Leather, and in alright condition for its age. I think they could be better, but Vagas I think was hard on them. Same with the carpeting. Its not bad, but every one I have seen with better looking has been replaced. It still has the stock exhaust, no leaks or funny ticks. Dont think it leaks anything. Could use a trans fluid change I think. Since day 1, its always been a little funny, but never any issues. I have always ran Valvoline High Milage in the motor and OEM in the rest. I always get compliments when its out, they cant believe the condition its in. I think who ever gets it will be happy. I will post some interior pix tomorrow, my camara died.
