Hello, Up for sale is our 2004 Volkswagen Jetta TDI station wagon equiped with the GLS package. It was driven by my wife on a daily basis and it's been incredibly reliable and fuel efficient! This Jetta has almost 98k miles (will have slightly over 98k when buyer picks up as it is still being used daily). We are the 2nd owners of this wagon and it was previously owned by an elderly lady from Delaware and has always been smoker-free. It's always been properly maintained and has had it's oil changed at proper intervals with Volkswagen approved oil. It's in excellent condition in and out and it runs and drives great! Everything works as it should and most importantly for this time of year, the A/C blows nice and cool! It gets EXCELLENT gas mileage and being a TDI, the reliabilty is simply incredible. These cars tend to easily reach 300k miles with proper maintenance! Being the GLS package, this Jetta comes with some nice touches of luxury such as comfortable heated leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with mounted controls for the radio & cruise control, heated & powered mirrors, a power moonroof, power windows, an 8-speaker Monsoon premium sound system (with speed sensitive volume - a nice touch!), Electronic Stability Program, and 15 inch alloy wheels. It's a very safe car just like any other modern Volkswagen. It also has the updated tiptronic transmission that Volkswagen began using in 2004 which my mechanic told me is much more reliable and durable than the automatic transmission found in pre-2004 models. The timing belt was changed about 500 miles ago by a "TDI Guru" recommended on tdiclub.com using the timing belt kit from idparts.com (A TDI specialized online store). You can check out the link here: http://idparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=511 Receipts of the timing belt replacement and of recently-performed VW recalls will be provided to the buyer. The only flaws I could really find that are out of the ordinary for a car with this mileage are some wear on the front seats, a small dent on the passenger side all the way at the very bottom beneath the doors (almost impossible to notice but I'd like to point it out for the sake of honesty), a little worn area on the antenna where the rubber coating is missing and the fact that it could use some new floor mats. Other than those minor details the car is in great shape and ready to go! The buyer of this car is sure to be happy with their purchase! They will be getting a safe, good looking and incredibly efficient car that will last for years to come. Oh, and it's far more fun to drive than any hybrid! ;) Car must be paid for in full and picked up within 2 weeks of auction end. The car will not be released until full payment has been received.
