You are bidding on a 1979 Lincoln Mark V Bill Blass Edition that had one owner for 30 years. This car spent over 20 years in California. When the owner retired from the Navy, he and his wife moved back to Ohio in 1999. The car is well documented (see pictures) with the original window sticker, owner's manual, original bill of sale, registration history and maintenance records. Too many documents to get into the photos! This car has all the options including the rare moonroof, electronic DTE (distance to empty) guage and the Quadraphonic 8-track sound system. Everything works including the A/C, cruise control, power antenna, power moonroof, DTE gauge, sound system, auto-dim and auto-on headlamp controls, wiper delay, wiper washer, etc. The six way power seats (fwd/back, front tilt and rear tilt) work except for the passenger's seat rear tilt function, the fwd/back and front tilt work fine. The Lincoln has been well cared for, as seen from the maintenance records. Notable items include A/C upgrade to modern R134 refrigerant, transmission reseal, new brakes and rotors, new Monroe shocks along with new NAPA springs. The car cruises like new. New Pirelli P400 Touring tires are on Luxor true 80-spoke wire wheels. The wire wheels show a little age but still look very sharp. Only damage on the Mark V is to the driver's side mirror (see photo). Temporary fix holds it secure and adjustable via the standard remote control. This Lincoln Mark V will not disappoint. Is it perfect? No, but find me one that is. It is a very, very nice survivor that runs and drives like she's new. You will be able to drive her home in style.
