Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE You are looking at a custom built C6500 that Dale Earnhardt Sr. had built in 2000. Absolutely one of the nicest trucks I have every saw! I will tell you the story behind this truck. Dale had this truck built for him in 2000 with a price tag of over 120,000.It was really bad in 2001 that he died in the accident he was in. Later the truck was sold to Richard Childress Racing. Then it was traded to a man in Colorado for some racing engines. Then the man that I got it from bought it and drove it back to Georgia. I don’t know who keep this truck up, but they have done a fantastic job. The black paint job on this truck is in excellent shape with a few rock chips here and there. Look at the pictures, this truck is not hurt at all. This western hauler has a Caterpillar turbo 3126 engine with a 10 speed Eton fuller transmission. This is a million mile truck if taken care of. It only has 160,000 well cared for miles on it and runs great. It has power steering, 4 wheel ABS power disk brakes, air, cruise, power windows, Talladega wide air ride seats with lumbar support, and big air bags on the back, full back seat. It also has electric towing box, train air horns, heated outside mirrors. Twin fuel tanks, almost new tires, and has been serviced. It is ready to go and haul anything you want. Now the rest of the story, I took this truck and two trailers and a camper on trade for a houseboat that I had and all I want to get out of the truck is what I allowed on it. I have sold everything. It is time to sell the truck. I really would like to keep it. You know if Dale had this truck built, it was built right. I also have the build sheet. They are still a lot that I have not mentioned like the chrome whales tail and aluminum wheels and all the running lights and all the aluminum plating. I sold Dale Earnhardt Chevy a few Chevy medinum duty trucks. I'm not sure if I sold this one. More than likely I did. I also sold Joe Gibbs Racing quite a few trucks and a few other race teams. I'm not trying to upset you, but you need to add a few options: 1) It is an Ext Cab Chassis. It was done by Monroe Truck Equip.@ an addiontal cost of around $6000.00 They do it for General Motors. 2) It should be a high torque motor. It does have an 8LL Trans. 10sp. 3) The GVW should be 25,950.
