Vehicle Detail
Check out my '65 Chevy C20 Dually My uncle bought it in 1970 It started life as a C20 Custom (has upgraded trim and interior) The truck has a correct year 327 V8 with 4 barrel and dual exhaust mated to a 4 speed manual transmission with transmission brake It's recently been freshened up with a rebuild kit Has an early 90's Dually rear with heavy duty springs and gas shocks (it's actually pretty good on the highway) The truck runs and drives very well. My uncle used this truck daily for years hauling headstones and a sometimes towed a small backhoe The body is in very good shape...I advertised it as a rat rod but the body is mostly rust free and was done better than most rats (could use a little more work on front cab mounts) Was kept in a heated shop most of it's life Frame and undercarriage has been painted with epoxy Has six very good tires (less than 2k on them) The truck has a flatbed with gooseneck trailer hitch. A 5th wheel setup goes with it too. Will be professionally painted Hot Rod black with a flattening agent, this is not a rattle can paint job and it wasn't cheap ($800 just for the materials) The interior is clean with the upgraded Custom level interior...Chevy's Custom trim package had a different steering wheel and guage package, comes with optional dealer installed "traffic light viewer" The wheels, custom push bumper, and grille were painted the same gold as the interior It has been lowered 2" in front...I left the back alone and dropped the bed Has mini peep mirrors (or you can have the western style truck mirrors that were on it) and will have 59 Willys hubcaps on it when you buy it I built this truck as a tribute to my uncle but I just can't keep it Call 203.631.5425 I'll post more pics as soon as it comes back from the paint shop
