1984 Volkswagen Scirocco, Mars red with a grey interior. Paint and interior are all original, and in good condition. Driver’s seat has a couple of small tears. I have been all over this car, top to bottom, and there is NO rust anywhere. It has definitely never been in an accident. Everything works. Power windows, power mirrors, tilt & slide sunroof, door and hatch locks, stereo, wipers, heater. The air conditioning seems to work a little bit, which makes me think that it might blow cold with a recharge. I know everybody says that, but I actually think it’s true in this case. I just installed four brand new tires (less than 50 miles on them) on the original “Tarantula” alloy wheels, which are in really great shape. Clean front and back, no curb damage, no bends or cracks. New motor mounts New rear brake wheel cylinders New headlights (all four) New door handles Engine oil and filter changed about 200 miles ago Cooling system flushed, fresh coolant installed about 300 miles ago Brake fluid flushed about 50 miles ago I would jump in this car and drive it anywhere. It runs great, goes down the freeway at 65mph no problem, smooth and quiet. Lots of fun on a twisty mountain road.
