For sale is a 1987 nissan 300zx 5 speed turbo coupe. Vehicle is in good overall condition. It is being sold because I no longer have a place to store it. It has been stored inside for approximately 3 years. The engine runs strong (lots of torque!), tires are like new, brakes are good (little rusty from sitting), clutch is good. The exterior has been repainted prior to my ownership. Looks nice, but could use a buff and detail to make it really stand out. There is a small ding in the left rear quarter panel (see pics) and a small rust spot below the parking light on the same quarter. Interior is clean for a 1987,the backs of the seats show a little wear and tear (see pics). The wheels have also been painted to resemble a "Shiro Edition Z". This car is fun to drive, it has lots of power and hadles well. However, as with all used cars, it has some minor issues and imperfections such as; upon cold start-up, the engine idles rough but smooths out when it warms up ( I'm guessing it's from the old gas, but perhaps a lazy oxygen sensor or IAC motor is the cause). The catalytic converter has been removed, but IS included. The previous owner was planning to upgrade to an intercooled big-turbo setup and removed the A/C compressor and condensor which are also included. The cooling fan has been coverted to a twin electric fan. The left window regulator is bad, however, a good used regulator and motor is included. Car is being sold as-is.
