1966 CHEVROLET STEP SIDE 4X4 PICKUP This pickup has been in a barn for the last 10 years. The man I purchased this from put a 6" lift kit which was 5 1/2" block in rear, new springs under the front. It looks like it has a 3" body lift. He also put a new set of buck shot wide mudders R85-15LT. These tires are 35" tall They are on an old set of aluminum wheels. This truck was never out of the barn until this year. Due to sitting for 10 years the side walls of the tires are dry rotted some but still hold air fine. This truck comes with transfer case, front & back rear end, rear drive shaft, automatic transmission, headers & pipes. Please note: The truck DOES NOT come with an engine! Also they could not find a front drive shaft. The truck has a rear sliding window. It has a plywood inside bed. The original bed had been removed. This would be a great truck to fix up. Front fenders appear to have some bondo and the door skins would probably need to be replaced. There is a little rust around the front windshield. It has some bubbled up rust on the inside of the cab above windshield. It will need inner & outer rocker panels & front cab brace supports. The bed is a nice condition step side bed. It has a chrome grill in average shape but consider that the truck was last painted over 20 years ago & looks good. It has a leather seat cover, carpet & floor mats. This is NOT a factory 4 wheel drive. They said around 20 years ago this truck was put on a mid to early 70's 4 wheel drive running gear & customized to fit the length of the truck. You are buying the truck AS IS! As far as we can tell, the transfer case works. The transmission shifted out & the front housing seems to be o.k. as well. PLEASE read description well before bidding.
