This car was discovered and purchased 10 years or so ago by a very good friend and shipped to Louisville KY to have some detail and spot work completed before its finial stop at the new owners house. A true 19,949 mile survivor with the majority of the original paint remaining will make this a true benchmark for all of us to enjoy. The pictures tell the story and there are many of them so take a look and let me know if you have question I might answer. For the record I will list the things I believe that have been replaced on the car and or changed from the factory assembly. List of items replaced or repaired. Lower radiator hose replaced with reproduction. Drive belt. Exhaust system, rear hangers original. Water pump. Passenger side quarter, looks to be repaired when car was very new. 4 of the 5 tires, spare is original. Wheel lip moldings added some time ago, old GM moldings. One clamp on heater hose.. I have spend a few months cleaning and detailing the car from top to bottom and no paint was used in the process other than the restoration of the original shocks and wheels. In some cases I did have to re plate a few items that just did not look the part. I have sprayed a protective coating on the bare surfaces to keep them nice but it can be removed by soap and water if the new owner chooses.
