For 1956 Dodge wisely chose not to drastically change the "Flair Fashion" styling, hoping to continue the successful sales of the rprevious years redesign. In order to persevere with the horsepwer race brewing in the Motor City and at the Bonneville Salt Flats, Dodge offered the Super Red Ram V-8 motor which had a 315 cubic inch displacement like the Red Ram but was an improved Carter WCFB four barrel carburetor, which is seen on this car. The same type of motor set 306 speed records at Bonneville in just a two week period, hence the name "Super Red Ram. I bought this car in January of this year for my wife. It was sold by Ty Bennett of Sweet Cars Inc. in Fort Wayne Indiana, who had it listed here on eBay. Ty assured me it had power steering, a must for my wife to be able to drive. Ty Bennett is a liar, the car has no power steering, which was not known until it was delivered. My wife can't drive it and I don't need it so I am selling at a loss. Unfortunately Ty Bennett is proof positive that the slimy used car salesman still exists. This is not the first vehicle we have purchased sight unseen via the Internet.
