The truck has a small block engine that I was told was a 283 with a 3 speed automatic transmission. This truck has power disc brakes with a 5 lug conversion and power steering. The truck runs and drives VERY WELL. It has good power and the engine sounds good. Everything mechanical is in order. The truck starts and goes down the road VERY WELL. It has been built sometime in the 90s. The paint is decent but not perfect and shows wear. The doors have a few small bubbles down low that have not gone thru. The rockers seem solid. The truck has a tilt column with the key still on the dash. It has all new wiring and everything seems to work good. The speedo is jumpy and inaccurate. The wheels are 8 inch rallies with decent tires but they have some rot and should be replaced before a long trip. The seat is in good shape. The floors are solid. Overall I have a GOOD SOLID TRUCK that runs and drives much better than expected. ITs not a show truck but a solid driver that can be depended on. With very little time and effort you can have a VERY NICE truck that is getting VERY HARD TO FIND. This is a short fleet side and NO they arent around every corner anymore. To be perfect it needs everything but to be a good solid truck that you can drive it needs very little.
