2000 MUSTANG GT CONVERTED TO SALEEN Screaming Yellow Speedster RELISTED BECAUSE LAST AUCTION WINNER DIDN'T END UP PAYING For sale is my 2000 Mustang GT Convertible with a full Saleen body kit and speedster cover. If you want a car that will turn heads then this is it! It's automatic, loud, clean looking, and in great condition, adult driver, non-smoker and with no engine problems. This is a V8 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L engine. This car has been garaged since 2006 (that's when I bought this car). I am the second owner. I purchased it with 98,500 miles and in 5 years averaged about 4300 miles a year. Today this mustang has 120,285 and runs smooth with no problems. I am selling it because I have a 9 month old boy now, car seat won't fit haha! Need to get a 4 door car. This is pretty much the only reason I am getting rid of this baby! Here are the upgrades. Tires were also replaced to Nexen tires. Front ones are 245/40ZR18 and rear tires are 265/35ZR18. All 4 tires were purchased in 2006 and have about 23,000 miles on them. No cracks but are pretty worn out. This car originally was zinc yellow. When I got it I just didn't like that color and I really liked the new Screaming Yellow color for the new mustangs. I got the car professionally painted in 2007. Top convertible cover is in perfect condition, goes up and down with no problems and it's black. There is a build in radar detector in the front grill and rear by the license plate. So what is wrong with the car? To be honest there is nothing really major to worry about. I drive this car on weekends and take good care of it. It has been garage kept for the past 5 years. Paint is great, a couple paint chips on the front bumper from normal highway driving, no dents or any major scratches on the car. One small scratch underneath the rear spoiler which you really can't see. There is a small windshield crack on the top driver side. It happened 3 years ago while driving on the highway and a small rock hit it. It's really small and hasn't been spreading or anything. I got the check engine light on because I have off-road exhaust system with no catalytic converters so that triggers the sensor. I also have the radiator light on which is also a sensor issue. It has been on for the past 4 years and my car has never overheated. Coolant is full, has been flushed in 2008. You're welcomed to test drive the car at anytime! A couple scratches on the Roll bar from taking off and putting on the speedster cover. I have a clean title at hand, will take cash or cashier's check (must clear first before you get the keys).
