Here we have a 1970 CB750 off frame restoration.VIN# CB750-1020834, MOTOR# CB750E-1021434. This bike has no wrinkle tank, no early ignition key switch. Loaded with new parts, most parts are NOS honda, and Yamiya in japan. All metal has been refinished correctly with PPG products. Body paint is the correct candy ruby red from Vintage honda paint.com. I restored this bike over the winter. Wheels and spokes are original finish. Bike is very nice but not perfect. The upper edge of the tach has a fine crack where it meets the black housing. Rear wheel has a 12 inch section of small rust specks,,, see picture. The new black finish is very nice. The mileage should be correct but I can't say for sure.The history on this bike is unknown. It did sit for a number of year's. This bike has new Standard size piston rings and all new gaskets. AND A UPDATED COMPLETE DYNA ELECTRONIC IGNITION KIT, with the hot 3OHM coils and 8.8 mm plug wires, No more messing with "Points,"and spark plug fouling, which is common with the weak stock ignition system.
