This is my 1978 Mercedes Benz 450 SLC. I bought the car with intent to restore and drive it but health and other issues have stopped me in the middle. Over the winter I have had the body work done,there was very little rust,no rust underneath or in floors or trunk area. Spent 6000 on paint and body. The car runs and drives very well.. What it does need to finish-Drivers seat needs recovering,Dash pad is covered by fitted carpet but is badly cracked. There is an exhaust sound that I believe is a donut gasket,I am going to try to get it fixed or checked this week. Brakes developed some issues with loss of pressure,I am also going to get them checked out and will have more information soon. All power accessories work and car drives like a new car.. This is an no reservee auction,the car has new brakes and the pressure issue is going to be addressed and fixed before auction end. The wheels are original whire wheels and would easily clean up,some surface dirt and rust that could be easily cleaned up. The body on this car alone is worth more than I have invested. My loss is your gain.but I already have too many vehicles so this one must go
