This vehicle was purchased new by my adult neighbor who drove it to work daily. He passed away 5 years ago and it sat for at least two years. His wife sold it in not running condition. We worked on it and found the fuel pump was bad and the tank was full of sediment from sitting with old gas. We installed a new pump and fuel filter, cleaned out the fuel tank, installed new plugwires, cap and rotor, and finaly new front brakes. The truck ran great the four wheel drive works perfect. The ac needed charged, all windows and locks work fine. The tires are still 50%. It appears the drive shaft has new cv joints installed before the original owner passed. It drives nice and straight front end is tight. It has a dent in the left rear quarter panel. The paint is peeling from sitting outside after he passed. Body is defintely worth restoring Now for the bad news. On the way to school a fuel leak started a fire in the engine compartment. It will need a new distrubtor, cap, rotor and wires. It also damaged the brake booster. Beyond that a few vacum hoses and splice some burnt wires and it will be back on the road.
