Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Mustang with the original rebuilt 302, and the original automatic transmission. The partial VIN # is stamped on the block and the transmission, making it a TRUE #'s matching car. This beauty was just painted and it's Viper Red, she has tons of new parts to include new carpet, seat upholstery, new door panels, and tons of other items. The car runs perfect, as the engine has less than 500 miles on her since she was rebuilt. The engine and transmission do not leak any fluids, and the engine fires right up! The car is loaded with options, like Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, and A/C. The body lines are very straight and this is a very nice Daily Driver type car. The car runs great here in Vegas with the temp gauge sitting at the 1/2 way mark. The car is very solid, and the pictures will speak for themselves. The car will be sold to the highest bidder, as there is NO RESERVE!! VIN: 0F01F172800 ENGINE/ TRANSMISSION: The engine is the original 302 that has been rebuilt. The partial VIN is stamped on the back of the block, and reads "0F172800", which is correct for the vehicle. She runs perfect, idles smooth, and of course no knocking of smoking. The heads have hardened valve seats to accept unleaded fuel also. The car has a older dual exhaust system and sounds very good. The engine is sealed up tight, and so is the power steering, which is unheard of with Ford's. The A/C blows put at 45 degrees at idle and will go down to the upper 30's out on the road. The power Disc brakes work really well and I just put new pads on her a few months back. The transmission is the orignal C4 automatic that shifts perfect. She is sealed up nice and tight with no leaks, and she was rebuilt about 2 years ago. The transmission also has a partial VIN# stamped on the top of the case also which matches the car's VIN #. The transmission is backed by a 8 3/4 rear end with 3:00 to 1 gears. It does not have a POSI though. INTERIOR: The interior is in very good condition overall, and has new carpet, new dash pad.. not a dash cap, new seat upholstery, new door panels, new drivers side remote mirror, and a new headliner that does need to been installed. The windows all roll up and down correctly, the lock also work correctly too. The car has new window felt on all four windows, and new door weatherstripping too. The car does not have a radio installed at this time though. The car does need a turn signal switch, as it works periodically. The left brake light only works when the left signal is on, so that's why I think it needs a new one. The headlights and interior lights work just fine though. All of the gauges work on the dash too. EXTERIOR: The exterior was just repainted to a Viper Red that looks great. The doors and the body lines all line up very well on the car. The passenger floorpan was replaced in the past and appears to be done very well. That was most likely cause by a leaking heater core in the past. The car has new bumpers, new antenna, new front grille, and some other new chrome pieces. The tires all have 80-90% tread left on them, and I used the 68 hubcaps, as I likes the red centers. The car drives very well down the road, and stops straight. She looks good, runs good, and drives good! INFO: The car is a DAILY DRIVER TYPE CAR!!!. The car is NOT perfect by any means but it’s 41 years old also. Please know this before bidding.
