This is the Jeep CJ year and model that everyone wants!!!! You are bid/buying a 1979 Jeep CJ7 Renegade Vin#J9M93EH105698. Look at the pictures. It is beautiful. I will be glad to post more. If an interested bidder wants to see a particular view or angle. I reserve the right to end this auction early prior to my reserve being met. This Jeep is for sale locally. It will not last long so bid strong. I don't believe you will be disappointed.....Detailed description below...I have tried very hard to be as descriptive as possible. So bid with confidence. Original AMC 304-V8 and 4 speed manual transmission Custom made steel front bumper complete with winch plate (for future winch installation) and (6) KC lights and custom made steel rear bumper and hitch with swing out spare tire carrier. This is one of the few projects I have yet to complete...all only need to be painted. 32" tires mounted on aluminum hole spoke rims..Did not have time to polish rims before I took pic's. Thats all they need. Warn locking hubs, Hooker headers, Dual FlowMaster exhaust (Little paint over spray on exhaust should burn off with continued use.) SOUNDS GREAT!!! New upgrade Crown one piece axle, New paint job...looks fabulous..Late model Nissan Imperial orange New tail gate and windshield frame replaced at the time paint and body work was done. New 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor AND new Edelbrock intake New Bestop High Rock 4x4 Element doors...Makes the look New weather resistant cover (pictured) New Bestop Black Crush Trailmax II vinyl sport seats New seat belts, New front brake pads New alternator, New timing distributor, Brake master cylinder recently replaced. New Black Crush vinyl rear tonneau cover. New tail lights and side marker lights, New Black Crush bikini top New electric fans and radiator. New fender flares Body tub repairs have been made and entire tub coated with spray in bedliner. Hard to say how far you would want to go with restoration, but in my opinion Jeep is 75% or better complete. You should only bid on this if you have an understanding of the restoration process and everything involved. This Jeep can and is being driven as is. Brakes are a little spongy not sure if all the air was bled out when front pads were serviced. Either way rear brakes should be serviced next. There is evidence of fluid leaks underneath.I would call it seepage more than leaks..consistent with a 79 year model vehicle. No spots on concrete underneath Jeep. The glove box, dash and its components are the next project to tackle. It has been started but needs to be completed. Right now only speedometer and odometer fuel gauge and tachometer are installed. I have some of the old pieces and a few new for the new owner. Other replacement parts can be picked up cheap enough on-line. Old radio has been trashed. I decided to leave that for new owner. Everyone has their own preference in stereo equipment. Also need to modify door latch strikers for new doors.This is not a complete listing of all work preformed as I am sure its not a complete listing of all work that could be envisioned. If and only If buyer picks up the Jeep in person. This Jeep has a hard top, set of hard doors, and set of soft 1/2 doors that will be included with sale. Many original parts and pieces. After payment in full, Buyer is welcome to leave the vehicle here for 2-3 weeks till shipping can be arranged. I own a set of mini-storage units and this vehicle will be stored in one. However I will not be responsible for any damage, that could come about from an unforeseen circumstance. I encourage you to contact your insurance agent and get policy to cover during storage and shipping. The Jeep is a 79 and this is an internet transaction. This will be an AS-IS sale. In my experience most vehicles can be shipped anywhere in the lower 48 for $400-1k dollars. The 1k being on the far east or west coasts. But this is only an estimate. I will be glad to help buyer get exact quotes based on ultimate destination. A PayPal account is required.
