Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1989 Mustang GT. The car chassis has 96,000 miles, the engine and trans have about 5,000 miles. The car runs and drives great. Always fires right up, idles good, handles good, and drives pretty good for a supercharged car with a big cam. It does crank slow on a hot start, but still starts up no problem. The body is in pretty good shape. there is one small rust spot on the hatch where the paint had chipped. Other than that there are a few small chips on the front, and a few on the spoiler. Also the spoiler has a small cracked area on the corner, it is still structurally sound, just needs patched and sanded. The under side of the car is very clean, the only rust is on the headers and the diff cover. The windows, door locks, power seats, and mirrors all work fine as well as all the lights inside and out (even the map light still works). The car was tuned at Paul's Automotive http://www.paulsautomotiveengineering.com/ and made 407whp and 417wtq @ 7 psi. Before the stroker I went a 12.86 @114mph on street tires, I don't know what it would run now, but I would imagine with drag radials it would be low 12's high 11's at least. The tires are at the wear bars, they are not dry rotted and still ride very smooth. I have well over 20k invested in this car and hate to sell it, but since buying my first home I am quickly learning that I cannot afford to keep my toys. Below is two videos I took about a month ago to show that the car starts, runs, and drives fine. I haven't started it since, its just sat in my garage. These were recorded in 720p so if you want to watch the HD version go to youtube On May-26-11 at 13:03:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to add, the engine has arp studs for the main caps and head bolts and the carpet has a few stains in it, but isn't to bad overall On May-27-11 at 15:20:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a couple pictures to show that there is hardly any rust at all underneath, just a little surface rust on the welds for the sub frame connectors. I anyone really needs better shots of the under side let me know and i'll get it jacked up for some better pictures. Also i want to add that this was tuned on 93 octane, and it is a very conservative tune.
