1959 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door Hardtop. Amazing unmolested original example. No rot or rust-through anywhere. Body is as straight as an arrow. The pictures do not show just how straight this car is. I have started the engine and it runs good with no smoke. I backed it into the parking space and have not driven it since. I bought it for parts for a 59 Ranchero and 59 Skyliner that I am doing but I realize now that this car is too straight and too complete to take apart for parts. All of the Galaxie trim is there and in great shape.It is complete down to the trim behind the rear wheels and the perfect grill. It will need a headliner, carpet, seats recovered if you want. It also needs a drivers door window and left rear window, both for sale here on ebay new for under $150.00. It has crank windows and a manual seat. It has power steering that works great and I have replaced the master cylinder and bled the brakes. If you are looking for a really clean example of this car to restore to your liking then this is it.
