Vehicle Detail
I am selling this vehicle that we bought two years ago that came as a package deal with an enclosed trailer. We never intended to keep the suburban, but it has been a great spare vehicle and has served us well, but we bought a new toy and are in no need of two spare vehicles. We bought this vehicle from a woman whose husband had unexpectedly passed and she liquidated all of his antique cars, and with that, his suburban and trailer. He bought the suburban and trailer in 1991 and used it only to tow his antique cars to and from car shows in PA. The odometer said 21,xxx miles when we got it, it now says 32,xxx and there is no number before that, so we do not have any idea if it is 132,xxx or 32,xxx. His wife had no license, and never drove so she had no idea how many miles were actually on it. Her husband had a new buick as well, and she said he always had newer cars, so this was never his main source of transportation. I had a 2nd generation chevy nut look over it and he said it is in great shape. The interior is almost perfect, with everything working, air, rear air, cruise, heater, defrost, power windows, power door locks, etc. It has heavy duty towing everything, deep tranny pan (turbo 400 trans, not weaker 700R4), trans cooler, power steering cooler, etc. All the emenities work, and the truck drives great, but should have two tires put on the back. On the last trip we took with the truck (to Indiana and back about a month ago), we had a rear tire blow out, and not only did it mess up the mud flap, but we are fairly certain that the rear tires were the originals, as they matched the spare which was on one of the original wheels. This is a nice truck truck and it runs great. I would drive it anywhere, though I would replace the two tires in the back. If the winning bidder wants to have tires installed before they pick it up, I will have them installed if he/she paypals the money in advance. I will also pick anyone up at the airport that wants to drive it anywhere, as I would trust this to drive anywhere.
