Up for bid is this 1991 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Spring Edition in Medium Sapphire Blue Firemist Metallic with Dark Blue interior and Gold accents. It has Power windows with Driver's side auto down and locks, Power seats (both sides), Power mirrors, Tilt wheel, Cruise control, ABS brakes, Driver's side Airbag, Intermittent wipers, Retained accessory power, Illuminated entry system, Remote trunk release, Trunk pull down, Door unlock button in the trunk to unlock the doors when the trunk is opened, Twilight sentinal automatic headlights, AM/FM Stereo Cassette, Leather interior, Automatic climate control, Dual illuminated visor vanity mirrors, Simulated convertible top (specific to the Spring Edition), Aluminum wheels (specific to the Spring Editiion), Gold package (specific to the Spring Edition), Information system which shows distance to empty, average fuel economy, instant fuel economy, oil life monitor etc. I have owned this car for about two years now and am only parting with it as I need the money or I would not consider selling it (I have always liked the Spring Edition Coupe DeVille so I was glad when this one became available. Since then we have had problems with our mortgage, no big suprise in this economy, and it is for this reason that I am selling it). I have put quite a bit into it in the time I have owned it including a Blower Motor Module OEM from a local Cadillac dealer, Twilight Sentinal Module OEM from the same dealer, Body Control Module OEM again from the same Cadillac dealership, new front brakes and rotors as well as fuel filter and fuel injection cleaning and new starter as well as an air conditioning recharge and transmission tune up from Goodyear Auto Service Center, a replacement radio from another 1991 Cadillac DeVille from an auto wrecker as there was a Bose radio in it when I purchased it which was the incorrect radio for this car (I still have the Bose radio and whom ever purchases the car can have it if they wish), all the headlights were replaced with Sylvania Xenon type high intensity headlamps, I replaced the two center caps on the passenger side wheels as the wrong ones were on it when I bought it, various oil changes, new wiper blades, I got the correct owners manual as the one that came with it when I bought it was the wrong year. This is some of the things I have done. I have all the receipts which will come with the car. Overall the car is in very good shape and is ready for a trip anywhere. The only two issues are that the radio will need to be replaced again as the one I purchased from the auto wrecker has become faulty and is causing a static sound from the right side but not on the left (I was told this radio could be rebuilt, apparently it's an issue with the speaker output on the radio. The speakers themselves are fine). If you keep the balance all the way to the left you can use it and get decent sound but the radio is what is needed for the best possible sound. The only other issue is that, at times, it runs a little rough. This was going to be my next project and I haven't yet had a chance to have it checked out for this issue. It does not smoke or leak oil, it has no knocking or pinging sounds and the engine is strong and solid. It's a low RPM issue (i.e. more noticalbe when the engine is in its lowest RPM range and again not all the time). I'm thinking perhaps an Oxygen sensor or something but I'm not sure as I haven't had it checked yet. It has passed the NYS safety and emmissions inspections both years. I have gotten many compliments when in gas stations etc. about "nice Cadillac" and "nice Coupe DeVille" etc. I have set the reserve very low so don't be affraid to bid to win.
