Vehicle Detail
1963 Plymouth Valiant convertable. The car is complete but probably needs a total restoration. The top and the carpet are bad. The 2 bucket front seats are very good. The back bench seat is pretty bad. Body has very minor surface rust but does have some puddy around the back 2 wheel wells. The floor and the trunk are pretty solid. The engine is a slant 6, 225, 3 speed on the colomn. The car ran when I parked it there about 8 years ago. I would charge the battery and start it every couple months. Always started right up. One day it didnt start and I lost interest in it and never tried it again. Makes me think it may be something small. I did recently put a charger on it and tried to start it, it turned over good but would not start. I also manually turned the fan and belt which leads me to think that it is not seized up. The wheels turn, but I dont know if I would trust to tow it a long distance, you may want to haul it, but thats up to you. Car is located in Mays Landing, NJ about 18 miles west of Atlantic City, NJ Ask any questions you have, or request any pic of any part you may want. Good Luck !! The one thing I am worried about is a piece of the top frame broke, I imagine it can be welded, fixed, or replaced. As of Thursday night I have 37 people watching this item, so hopefully on Fri I am going to add more pics, including a pic of the broken top frame. THIS IS NOT A BARRACUDA, this is a Valiant but there was no valiant catagory and the are sister cars. I also have the full face SIgnet hub caps, and the V100 dog dish hub caps.
