Up for sale is my 2002 Volvo S80 T6. It's been my daily driver for almost two years and I had plans to drive it until the wheels fell off, but I have a new C30 to pay off and 1983 240 to maintain. It's got great pick-up on the highway (twin turbo is awesome), has never left me stranded, and has always exuded class and luxury. It is almost a decade old, so it has a few minor problems, but I can't justify fixing it up with two other vehicles hanging around. It's rust free and located in Enterprise Alabama. The work I've done to it: Entire new oil pan- the old one got scuffed up running over something and had a small leak. This was an absurdly expensive fix. New Battery in January @142,513 Miles: Right lower ball joint, sway bark link, strut @142,582 Miles: Entire new e-brake assembly @151,344 Miles: New control arm bushings, brake hoses, sway bar link What needs to be done: -Check engine light is on, code is for a right side oxygen sensor. Probably has a mild affect on fuel economy, but with a little over 20 MPG, I never complained. -Brake booster has a pinhole in it and makes annoying squeak sometimes. Mechanic said don't worry about it unless it affects braking ability. -Pop-up DVD Navigation system works, but didn't come with map discs from prior owner. New discs are WAY more than the cost of a Tom-Tom. I settled for the latter. -Misc scratches are annoying, as is the 1/4 inch chip in the window. Wrap on window pillars is a little scratched up and seats have a little wear. Again, it's 10 years old, what are you going to do? -It needs at least two new tires. I had studded snowtires on up in Maine and threw some second hand ones on when I moved to Alabama. Two aren't the greatest, one is quite smooth. The road noise is more annoying than the handling. The vehicle has had these things on the "pending fix" list for a long time. Nothing here affects the performance, and there aren't any inspection requirements in Alabama, so I never bothered to spend the money. I'm stationed here on Ft. Rucker, so it might sell locally in the lot on post, so I may end the auction early if I find a local seller. Thank you!
