1971 Mercedes 280SL This is a 1971 Mercedes 280SL, in excellent condition. This car has been extensively restored, car was repainted, the finish is excellent. Interior is fully restored, new seats, door panels, carpets ( German square weave), dashboard, wood refinished. Car comes with the original Becker radio, 2 tops, soft top is new. Car comes with turbine Mercedes wheels. There is over $41,000 in receipts since 6/02 and that doesn't include the price of the car.. The most of the restoration was of completed in 2005 in NJ. The car is runs great, but does have a leak from the transmission. The car has only been driven less than 1,000 miles in the last 7 1/2 years. It was transported in a covered car carrier to its current location in North Carolina, but is registered and insured in New Jersey. I am listing the car for my father-in-law.
