As the title says this is a 2002 ford focus. The engine and transmission are strong because they were rebuilt only 20 000 'ish miles ago. There are a couple of issues that don't affect drivability: windshield has a crack and catalytic converter needs changed. If you are interested I can take care of these things for the cost of the items which would be roughly 400 bucks. We can discuss this later and just add it to any final price; these things would only take a couple of days to rectify so I can will get it done while we are discussing closing details. To my knowledge the car is completely mechanically sound, except for cat. conv. the engine and transmission should need no maintenance for a long time. I haven't notice any fluid leaks either. The Focus is notorious for, in fact Ford's worst car for, key cylinders locking up. This has already happened and has been fixed with a newer type of cylinder that doesn't have the OEM defect. Other than some minor problems that may pop up here or there I believe this car will be able to go another 100k miles without any major problems. It is my daily driver right now, about 75 miles a day. Drives great. I have some oversized tires on the front to help with gas mileage so it kind of vibrates the steering wheel. They were new when I got them and only put a couple thousand miles on them. You could swap them with the rear ones and it rides smooth as can be. The car has 16 in rims and an in dash 6cd changer. The brakes are brand new all around (fronts and rears), just a couple of weeks old, the battery is fairly old but it still runs real strong, had no problems starting it last winter. It has AC but it doesn't work. There are some scratches if you look closely, most of them could be buffed out i think. Take a look at the pics, if you would like more pics just email. I will deliver it to you within 500 miles for the cost of expenses only. None of the 2 dollars per mile crap. Added 5/21: I just found out the car has broken front springs. As an incentive to buy I will replace them for free with the combo spring strut assembly from monroe #'s 171504, 171505. The car will have brand new front struts and springs.
