1973 International Scout II. 58,000 ORIGINAL MILES Up for sale to the right price is our baby. You don't find a Scout in Original unmolested condition as this, and a Arizona vehicle it's entire life! Hot and Dry weather..... Purchased from a family in our recreational Park by Lake Havasu AZ. Grandfather was original owner. Passed on and hadn't been used since 2000. Only used for Grandfathers recreational four wheeling club and bumping around the small town. Scout had always been parked in carport and covered, however the hot and dry weather does still take it toll on some of the paint with fading. We towed it to our place, checked it over, filled the gas tank and primed the carb, started up like a champ! Amazing for sitting that long. I have watched this scout for years in anticipation of buying, finally suceeded and now have a little squabble with IRS, SO the Scout and a few other toys must go unfortunally to keep uncle Sam at bay. Other wise this would not EVER be here, it's that sweet of a ride! Needs to be gone through with minimal care to drive on the road, we actually criused it around for 15 miles, drives nice. Does take some getting used to with no power steering (Id convert if was to keep). Solid truck with endless possibilities to the right guy, or spend a day tinkering and get to off roading immediatly! V8 Engine 58000+ Original Miles Automatic transmission 4X4 Air Conditioning and heat CB Radio (LED Display not operational) Custom Heavy Duty bumper in front with electric warn winch (inside controls) Original owners manuals Original spare tire and mount inside Chrome rear bumper with ball hitch (little tweeked here and there) Front and rear skid pans Newer tires and Welded white spoke wheels Interior in excellent contition for 38 years old. Seats were covered. Front is a little crispy on the top corners but the back is fine (sunlight/heat) Minimal rust compared to most scouts Ive seen. As little starting on the rear roof (scuffed from blowing car cover all the years I assume. Some rust around driver rear top drip rail on roof and one spot at passanger door lower panel. All that Ive found see pic's. Wipers, heater signals, windows, everything works...evern the door locks with the key! Again, a nice find if you are an avid collector or can appreciate a rig like this. I'm not into games, and have no time for morons wanting to ship to Saudi Aribia. You give me the money we settle on, and YOU pick up and or arrange shipping.
