On auction is my 2001 Corvette convertible which I purchased new in the summer of 2001 and currently has less than 42,000 miles on it. Sadly, health issues and related medical bills force the sale. It has all the toys from Preferred Equipment Group 2 including Head Up Display, Selective Real Time Damping, 12 Disc CD Changer and a 6-speed manual transmission. I replaced the OEM Goodyear tires with Michelin Pilot Sports (non-run flat). Other than that, there are no mods. Synthetic oil has been used for oil changes and all maintenance/repairs have been done by the dealer. Clear title and receipts are in hand. Garaged. Stored winters. Zainoed. New Optima battery. Recent brake job. Non-smoker. I will also include a Wolf custom car cover, a Battery Tender and a mini air compressor at the “Buy It Now” price. The EPA rates it at 28m.p.g. highway. In 6th gear, at 70m.p.h., the on-board computer routinely shows that and more! From the pictures, you can see that it’s in great condition. It does show normal wear and tear for the mileage. The only obvious blemish is a small stone chip on the hard tonneau, which I’ve pictured As far as I know, there are no problems and I wouldn’t have any problem heading to California in it tomorrow. However, as used vehicle, it is being offered in “as is” condition with no warranty either implied or expressed. If you are local and would like to see the vehicle in person, that can be arranged. I will be glad to take serious buyers for a cruise, but there will be no ‘joy rides’ without a full cash deposit of the “Buy It Now” price. I do have it listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early for that reason. Remember that your eBay bid is a binding contract, so please don’t bid if you don’t have your finances lined up or are just playing around. The winning bidder will need to send a $500.00 PayPal deposit with 48 hours of the auction’s end. Full payment due via cash or cashier’s check within 7 days of the auction’s end. The winning bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs, but I will help with logistics where I can.
