Vehicle Detail

I have owned this car for 30 years, it has always been an extra car for pleasure, it has sat for most of the last 15 years. Since I retired and moved to this house I've started restoring the car but finally had to admit I haven't the room, as the photos show I have welded in new floor pans, 14 guage (double the thickness of the car body, I bought a parts car from the south and replaced the trunk floor, hood, I also have the trunk lid and doors if needed and many other parts. The car was running when I started so its all there with dozens of photos of disassembly to help put it back togeather. the gas tank was corroded and scrapped, it is now spotless, new heater core, a job that seems impossible with the engine in the car, I took the engine and tranny out to replace the floor, it is now on a stand which can go with the sale. I had a rocker gasket leak so I decided to take off the covers and oil pan and paint, check over the engine while I have it out, one lifter is sticking, I planned on replacing all of them, cost including gaskets around $200, it also needs a y pipe and a straight pipe to the muffler, this would make it driveable while the restoration is done at your liesure. I have also fabricated and welded in rear 1/4 pannels. the car needs a new top (goes up and down fine), new carpet (available online), front seat (or all the upholstery) fixing, body filler and paint. all the electrics work, the windows, trunk and door seals (all seals available on line) need to be replaced. I have a color coded wiring diagram that I bought before I started the job. I ran an add for this car a few months ago but the buyer didn't show, I continued working on it since. The bottom of the front fenders have the usual rust spots, I didn't get to that yet. This is a project, organized but not for the faint of heart, if you don't have the enthusiasm the ability or the space, don't buy it. First $2500 buys it,email or call Terry 414-807-4471
