****FIRST IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY, DO NOT HAVE THE MEANS TO TRANSPORT OR MOVE THE VEHICLE, PLEASE DO NOT BID, IF YOU BID AND ARE UNABLE TO EXECUTE YOUR AGREEMENT WITH THE AUCTION, I WILL PURSUE IT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THAT I CAN**** So think before you bid. This is my personal 1976 Lincoln Town Coupe. I acquired this car from my best friend who had previously owned it for almost 8 years. This was my fun toy. I have recently had some personal issues arise and lets face it, its just a car and it can be replaced. Family comes first. This car is a very clean, driver. The paint is good, there is no signs of major collision or rust repair. Everything except for the power antenna works. I do have an extra one to include with the auction. The AC will literally freeze you out of the car. The 8 track works as well, however the radio tends to change stations sometimes. I just couldnt see myself to replacing it. The engine which is a 460 with a 4bbl carb has only 83, 268 miles on it. It runs flawlessly. Last summer I replaced the spark plugs, the cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter, front pads, cleaned and adjusted the rear shoes. The tires have almost no miles on them, and are Firestone Wide Whites. The transmission which is a C6 was just completely rebuilt. Last year it developed a leak on the front pump, I put it in storage with the intentions of fixing it this spring. The transmission has no miles on it, as I just installed it. I also recently had the windows tinted. Again, my plans were to never sell the car. Such as life. There are only a few issues with the car. The paint is thin in some spots, it was painted many years ago from what I can tell. However it shows very well. I get compliments on it all the time. The front bumper chrome has some wear on it, the headlight doors will open over a period of about 2 days. The half landau top could be replaced. It had previously been repaired, it looks good from 5 feet away, but once you are up close to it, it shows its wear. The doors open and close great, when my friend bought the car 8 years ago, he applied POR-15 to the entire underside to keep it from rusting, and it works. The underside of this car is very clean. If you look closely in the pictures you will see the exhaust is missing. I have to re install it, the exhaust is in excellent shape. It was such as nice day out today, finally no rain so I was able to sneak it out for pictures. The car drives like a dream, it floats down the street. The steering is good, the suspension is good, there are no major rattles or sqeaks. This car is big, its over 19' long, it will not fit in my garage, so I keep it in a storage unit. It is as long as my F250 that I currently own. Overall this is a turn key car, needing almost nothing. It is a great driver, and when was the last time you saw a 5200# tank running down the road?? If you have any questions please feel free to ask away. I would like to see it go to someone who will enjoy this car. If you would like to look at it before you bid, you are more than welcome to. I do have a free and clear title in my companies name. Good luck
