Vehicle Detail
1974 Ford Bronco, 302 Runs like a top! RARE FACTORY AUTO-TRANS! Heavy Duty U152 VIN!!! 4900 lb GVW. Dana 44 Front axle, Ford 9" Rear. Removable Hardtop and Doors! Ready to cruise with the top off this summer? New Ball Joints, New Reman Brake Master Cylinder, New Brake lines, New Reman Power Steering Pump, New Power Steering Gear Box, New Power Steering Hoses, New Seals in Front and Rear Diff's. New Exhaust, New HD Steering shaft with U-Joint. Double CV Joints on Front and Rear Drive shafts. 33 x 12.5's 50% Tread. The teeth weren't counted when the diff seals were replaced, but the gearing is low. I'm guessing 3.54. This Old Bronco is SOLID! Floor Boards are Solid, Rockers are Solid, Inner Fender Wells, Yep - Solid! There is one pencil eraser sized rust hole in the drivers lower door, other than that there is some various surface rust. The rear tailgate does have rust on the inside, which can be seen in pics. Comes with an uncut hood if you don't like the hood scoop. A tree limb fell on the top of the passenger side front quarter panel. Not a big dent, easy fix. All glass is good, windows roll, and back hatch glass lifts. There's been a lot of work put into this Bronco, just not enough time to finish it. These old Bronco's came from the factory with dual tanks, it is almost a 40 year old truck, so the tanks have been pulled and need to be replaced. I am currently running it off a small plastic gas tank. The interior needs a little TLC, could use new front seats. This model came as a 2 seater from the factory, so no back seat. The 4wd works, Transfer case is a T handle, I would suggest twin sticking, easy conversion, since the tcase shifting linkage is sloppy. All the parts to restore these old Bronco's can be bought dirt cheap from Tomsbroncoparts.com. This old truck fires right up, runs and drives well. I would recommend trailering this home, because it does need front turn signals, I have most of the components to reinstall signal lights, and due the the gas tanks being removed, I have most all hardware to reinstall tanks. It is ready for someone the spend a little time and money on and have a rare classic that's worth double or triple is current bargain price, or just hit the woods as it sits. This truck is in no way shape or form perfect. It needs some minor stuff to get it back to a daily driver, but it is a solid foundation for a full or minor restore. Please email me with any questions. I have the Bronco for sale locally, may cancel auction due to local sale. Available for viewing 9-5:30 weekly. I have a large lot to test drive it on. I won't let it off the lot, no insurance on the truck, so no road test drives. On May-13-11 at 09:24:49 PDT, seller added the following information: After numerous request I am posting a link to additional pictures. I did forget to mention that a tree limb did hit the roof at the same time the front fender was dented I have included several photos of the area affected. The damage is minor. The biggest thing affected was the crossmember bracing on the underside of the hard top. Could easily be sanded and tack welded back into place. http://s288.photobucket.com/albums/ll190/randyspawnshop/
