Excellent condition 1973 Ford Bronco, gets noticed everywhere. The older Broncos have a distinctive look that no contemporary make/model can match - it's one reason these 4x4s still have a cult following. I bought this after restoration had been done immediately before the prior owner bought it. I need to emphasize: although I live in Chicago, this truck has been southern owned and driven. I brought it up out of Oklahoma just a few months ago, stored it over the winter, drove it a total of 15 miles and then found out last month that I've got to move. I won't need another car for a couple of years so rather than garage it, I have to sell it. My reserve is almost $3000 less than I paid 3 months ago, and I've upgraded parts. As a relatively new buyer myself it has been recently inspected (twice), by different garages in both Tulsa, Oklahoma and Chicago, IL. It is 3-speed manual on the floor. It has about 55k miles on everything but the engine. The engine, a 302 V8 Ford Crate, has less than 5000 on it. No rust problems. Floorpans have been replaced, door posts solid. I had a new top-line gas tank put in: a $450 23 gal Sherman Tank for off-roading bought from Wild Horses 4x4. All of the other upgrades are also first class and most done by Bronco Experts (Gordon Bailie of Bailie Bilt and Darrell "The Bronco Godfather" of Tulsa,OK). This was done before previous owner, who only had the truck a few years himself. - 17" KMC XD Series Wheels- 33 x 12.5 Cooper Discoverer ST/T Tires- New Spray in Speedliner- New Howell Throttle Body FUEL INJECTION kit with Heated O2 sensor- New DUI Distributor- New Tuffy Center Console with Stereo Slot- New Front Disc Brake Conversion- New BC Broncos 5.5 Front Coil Springs- 4 New Bilstein 7100 Shocks with Reservoir- New Bailie Bilt Family Roll Cage - Powder Coated- New Bailie Bilt Storage Tool Trays - Powder Coated- New Bailie Bilt Stainless Stone Guards- New Bailie Bilt Stainless Broncool Inserts- New Front Axel Seals- New Front Inner Axles- New Front LockRite Locker- New Front 260X U Joints- New Seat Belts all around, and new extra set of shoulder belts not installed- New Bikini Top- New Wiper cover- Hurst Floor Shifter- New Warn locks on the front- Hard Top in Excellent condition- Powder coated frame There are only a few small blemishes...a couple of nicks in the otherwise beautiful paint job. Paint is scratched about 1.5" near above the back right tail light. There is a very faint mark on the panel beside the hood that I will try to get a picture of. the speedometer is a little low at highway speeds. Needs a new flasher toggle and a stereo installed. Small Gas tank has been removed. This Bronco is awesome. With the Fuel Injection Kit, it starts strong every time - even in Chicago cold. And believe me, you will get more comments than you would believe no matter where you go! Reserve is well under what the mechanics that have seen it have estimated it to be worth.
