1972 Plymouth Gold Duster. Low miles one owner car. My grandma's neighbor bought this brand new from local dealer and drove it up to 2004. As you can tell by the low miles, she didn't go far. Bought for a parts car last year but sold the project car, so don't need this one. Quarters are pretty rotted out. Bottom of the doors have a little bit of rust as well as the bottom of the fenders. It definately has it's share of dents. Underneath has surface rust all over but no holes. Sub frames intact...rusty but not rotted. 225 slant six motor. Automatic trans. This is a 46,171 mile pretty much all original car. Even has original hoses. Everything works on the car except the dome light which may just be a bulb. The interior is REALLY clean for the year. Dash cluster is really nice. Heater works good. AM radio works. Seatbelts are immaculate. Buzzer even still works and the seatbelt light comes on. All the doorpads are real nice and the windows are all good...not scratched up. Dash has approx. 1/2" crack on both corners where these usually cracked. Can't see it from inside the car. Seats aren't torn...have minor fading on sides and in back by the back window. All the seals on this car are nice and plyable...not ripped. Chrome trim in good shape except for drip edge mouldings have a couple minor dents. Aligator vinyl roof is in really nice shape. Complete jack in the trunk. All 4 hubcaps are in perfect condition. All door locks lock and open with the key. This has a new gas tank and sending unit. This is one heck of a parts car. Could be a project car if you don't mind some work. This car is driveable except for the rear brake line has a leak. Had good brakes before the leak developed. I'm might fix this problem before the auction ends if I get time. If I do, I'll update the auction. At one point the fan hit the radiator and made a mark, but it doesn't leak. The car is located at zip code 49916. $150 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end.
