1992 XJS Convertible. This car spent most of it's life in California. The mileage is correct and the condition is excellent. There is no corrosion at all on any part of this car. The interior is superb with no cracks in the wood or damage to the leather. Several thousand dollars spent on this vehicle in the past 12 months. New Wilton wool Jaguar mats, tires, brakes discs and calipers all round, full service with plugs etc, perfect pass emissions test (every year) complete Jaguar tool case with all wrenches etc un-used. Handbooks, new (matching green illumination) sound system carefully installed. Brand new OEM Jaguar tan canvas boot cover from Coventry, England (cost $400) plus another brand new black one (aftermarket) at $285 just to ring the changes! Wheel rims are original and like new, spare wheel never used. Everything works correctly on this car. Air/con is now too low on gas and will need re-charge but was ice cold last summer. All panels, bumper, hood, trunk lid have original factory VIN bar code. No engine oil leak issues with this car, in fact no fluid loss from anywhere. This vehicle is mechanically superb. The paint has some light chips, nicks and general fine lines as would be expected for 19 years of age but the paint is nice, presentable and shows a very exception mirror finish gloss. Please note the picture with the green arrow indicates where a young lady backed her VW bug into the panel! It was professionally pulled/sucked out by the dent wizzards and I haven't done anything with it. The paint is not broken and it's hard to see the contour variation unless pointed out. I was going to have just that panel re finished but decided to leave it alone. Check out all the photos, this is a nice driveable classic that needs nothing, just enjoy it thru the summer. 1992 is a unique model year with the classic early design door handles and later model front and rear side markers included on that model year only. Sensible low reserve for the next Jag enthusiast to affordably buy drive and maintain this classic English V12 mechanical masterpiece.
