1983 Honda Shadow

1983 Honda Shadow VT750C New battery last spring, oil changed last fall. All turn signal stems have been replaced (an issue with these bikes), original seat in excellent condition. The low fuel indicator is not working (bad sensor in tank, I just use the trip odometer), cooling fan switch in radiator not working (manual switch installed inconspicuously in front of tank). The only time the fan is needed is when cruising town on a hot day. Scuff marks on bottom of right side muffler. Can only be seen when kneeling down and looking under muffler. Don't know how they got there, was like that when I bought it. Some small dings and scuffing on front fender. Again, there when I got it. A couple small scratches on rear fender below tail light. Minor oil leak from drain plug. Have tried different plug gaskets but haven't been able to stop the leak. Again, this is a very minor leak but it does leave a spot on the garage floor. Would recommend new tires, especially the front. The rear tire has no tread in the center but is a sound tire, the front is showing signs of weather checking on sidewalls. I have tried to list all defects in the interest of full disclosure, but all in all this is a very nice bike that runs very good. I am selling because I don't ride it enough and because my house is in need of some major repairs. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with purchasing this bike. Had it out last week to clean it up and drive it around. Ran great. I will accept cash or cashiers check only. No personal checks, please.
