I WILL WORK WITH YOUR SHIPPER TO GET IT LOADED IN EDGEWOOD NEW MEXICO USA*********** THE VIN # IS 92431553* the last # is intentionally left out but as the winner you will of course get it. INCASE YOU NEED THAT AS THE VIN BOX ON THE EBAY PAGES WONT ALLOW VINS FROM VERY OLD CARS TO BE PUT THERE THE DISCIPTIONS OF MY CARS I ADMIT ARE A LITTLE LONG WINDED BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF SHAPE THE CAR IS IN WHEN YOU BUY IT AS THESE ARE NOT NEW 2011 CARS BUT MOST ARE NEARLY 40 T0 50 YEARS OLD SO BID ACCORDINGLY AND ASK QUESTIONS I TRY TO ANS ALL QUESTIONS WITH IN 4 TO 5 HOURS MY CARS HAVE BEEN RESTORED TO MY TASTES YOURS MAY BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. Up for sale is car four out of my personal collection, it is a 1964 Chrysler Imperial CROWN COUPE 2 door hard top, only about 5,000 made for that year most likely under 500 still on the road. Mileage shows 08,133 but it has turned over once as would be expected and it has only been driven several hundred miles since it stopped but a new speedometer cable will be inclued with the car to install. This car is rust free southern Calf and a rust free southwest car When you find these 2 door hardtops for sale on eBay they are priced so high you cant afford them or in such bad shape it would cost to much to bring them back. This one is priced to sell at only $3,800. There were about 14,000 four door hard tops made not so many 2 door hardtops I am the second owner of this car, I bought it from the original owner in 2000 she was 86 and had to give up her liecense because of her advanced age. It is a all original car, meaning it has never had to be restored other then getting repainted back to its factory color of bright white the color when it was new, at some time in the past the original owner had it painted a bright metallic green you can see that with the hood open and the white paint has came off a little bit under the hood but not on the exterior of the car, the interior is the original leather seats, are in pretty good shape for being being over 4 decades old front and back, both electric and still has its original carpet in it and not really worn at all but just a little on the drivers side but again not bad for being that old. They were called aircraft strato style bucket seats. The vinyl top was been replaced in 2002 to the currant green color it most matches the interior color green as well. But needs replaced again as the New Mexico sun is hard on vinyl tops see the photo of the vinyl top, should only cost about $500.00 to get it replaced All Crown Coupes came with the smaller Limo style back window very nice and I added the rear window blinds in the back window a real popular option back in the 50‘s and 60‘s up until about 10 yrs ago you could still buy reproduction ones from the JC Whittney catalog but not any more and you can see through them just fine at night or day. And 95% came with vinyl top. The title is -in my name- and is not jumped title as so many cars being sold on eBay, meaning the title may have not been put in the currant owners name and just passed through several hands and when you bid and win the car I can scan and send you a copy of the title via email when you win and pay the pay pal deposit that shows it in my name . If you are the winner of the car This one has a “413” with a 4 bl carb the carb has been recently rebuilt in the last yr and it has new dual exhaust as well. It is a fully optioned car as all of them were, power steering the power steering leaks some at the gear box I just keep adding when needed, it has power brakes, power windows, power seats, and air-conditioning the a/c at this time does not work looks like the compressor is relatively new, but may just need to be recharged with R-12 or you could convert it to 134. It has the rare Tilt steering wheel. It of course has a automatic transmission 1964 was the last year for the push button transmission and it works and shifts great. 3 of the 4 windows work, the drivers side front works just fine the pass side front works but is just a little slow coming back up, and the passenger side rear window works fine, the drivers side back window I can hear the window motor go but it is not catching the window gears, a common problem with these 64 to 66 Imperials the power wing vents are elect but I have not tried to get them to work as with your front windows down you get plenty of air. A new speedometer cable is included with the car but has not been installed yet. This one has a custom made dash mat for it something we do in the southwest because of the hot sun, it has a custom made console that runs from the front seat to the dash, just something I liked you can take it out if you want to, but it makes a great place to sit your sunglasses or what ever and has a real time oil pressure and volt meter gauge and vacuum gauge as well. as the one on the dash amp meter stopped working some years ago. The gas guage works fine yet, as well as the radio. One of the problems with these cars is some times the ingnition switch stops working as far as starting the car, and to get it out to replace it is nearly impossible , the way the dash is designed so the easier solution was to just put a top of the line starter button just to the right of the steering wheel, so you just turn the key to the on position and tap the starter button and the car starts just fine. As a added feature it is a anti theft deterent cause with out knowing where the button is it cant be started or hot wired, all glass is fine with no breaks or cracks in any of them. The tires are in good shape and have lots of tread on them and wont need to be replaced for yrs to come unless you wanted them to they are 235 x 15’s 75’s a big tire for a big car. Front brakes were done 3 yrs ago, with new shoes and wheel cylinders and all new hardware, the rears were still in good shape with 75% of the shoe left. The bright high beams do not work on the car, not sure why but the regular out side beams work fine and those have Helogens in them to have lots of light at night. WITH ANY OLD CAR YOU ARE NOT BUYING A 2011 PERFECT CAR, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND, BUT THIS CAR IS A GREAT CAR IN MY OPINION NOT MUCH NEEDED CAR AND IS WHAT I CALL A “TURN KEY CAR” YOU TURN THE KEY AND YOU CAN GO. Pictures 1 to 8 just show the overall views of the exterior Pictures 9 to 12 show the front seat and dash area Picture 13 the remote starter button just to the right of the tilt steering wheel Pictures 14 to 15 just show the back seats and back window and head liner Picture 16 is of the huge trunk it is full carpeted and has a good spare Picture 17 is of the little bit of cracking from the last paint job but really doesnt show unless you look for it Picture 18 is of the vinyl top that might need attention at some point the dark lone going across the roof is just a shadow from a over head utility line Pictures 19 to 21 is of the the "413" motor .
