Car runs and drives 100%!! No leaks, noises, smoking or misfire. AC is cold. Sunroof DOES NOT operate. I think it is a possible switch problem. I did not look into it - fuse appears good. - No leaks. Driver side passenger window does not operate. I hear the motor and the window nudges but does not go down. I will try some WD40 when I have some time. Tires and brakes are excellent. Car passes safety inspection. Body is clean but has some scratches and a cracked passenger side mirror housing (power mirror works fine). Since the tranny was rebuilt, the battery had been disconnected, thus resetting the onboard computer to zero. In order to pass NY State strict inspection criteria, the car needs to be driven to reboot or reset the onboard computers. Many states do not require this, but NY does. I have driven this car aimlessly and spent lots of $$$ in gas - the computer has not reset. Sometimes these VWs need hundreds of miles to reboot these ridiculous computers. I am therefore selling it in "As Is" condition. Since it will not pass NY State's inspection, NY residents are unable to bid or buy... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
