This is a very solid 1970 big block 4 speed Challenger. The car is missing the engine and transmission, but was an original 383 4-speed base Challenger model. It has very little rust with a few pin holes in the trunk floor in the small channels near the drains and some rust bubbles in the lower part of the driver's quarter panel behind the rear wheel. The car has most of it's original paint with some areas of surface rust. The engine bay is excellent condition and the original battery tray is not rusted out. The floor pans throughout the car are in excellent shape with no rust. Fenders, doors, rockers, hood, trunk and body panels all in good shape. Hood has some small holes drilled in the center where a Hemi style hood scoop was mounted and can easily be welded up. The trunk pan does not need to be replaced and the holes can be brazed over or filled. The hump where the 4 speed mount has been cut slightly as previous owner had a B body 4 speed mounted in the car. An E-body Pistol Grip Shifter is available to the winning bidder at extra cost. The car is missing the front bumper, rear valence, center console, engine and transmission. All chrome/ trim is present and in good shape. All glass is with car although driver's door glass is out and front windshield is cracked. Interior and door panels are in good shape. Seats need to have new covers but are in good condition. Needs new headliner. Dash pad is in great shape with no cracks and may have been replaced at one time as VIN tag is missing off the dash. VIN numbers are present on door and cowl. This is a great restoration project with very little body work needed. It is a low production vehicle with a very desireable combination of Orange paint, black vinyl top, black interior, 383 Big Block with a 4 speed transmission. I am listing this car with a low reserve below it's true value for a quick sale. It is located in South Georgia, two hours south of Atlanta. It comes with a Bill of Sale. Georgia did not have titles for vehicles of this year. You can use the Bill of Sale and a VIN Verification form for many States to register or obtain a title or use a title service. International Title Service out of Las Vegas is a legit and great way to get a quick and inexpensive title for vehicles.
