This is a red 1966 Mustang Convertible with a white rag top in original condition. All the trim is there and in great condition. This is in excellent condition to restore. Very little work to do. The interior is in great condition, no rips or tares, and the all the gages in the dash works. Everything on this vehicle works!!! Car starts right up and drives great. It is a straight six with an automatic transmission. It has been garage kept for the past 15 years and the previous owner also kept it garage kept. The paint is a bit faded, but the body is in great shape. No dents, and no evidence of an accident. There is minor rust along the lower portion of the rear quarter panel near the door and on the lower edge of the driver side door. The floor boards are solid. Every where is solid with the exception of one area. The odometer reads 17245 but I believe it has rolled over once. Now the bad: The frame on both sides of the vehicle at the same identical location just forward of the front doors has rotted holes approximately 7"x 2.5". The sections of frame on both sides will need to be cut out and replaced. The transmission has a small leak. Looks like the gasket needs replacing. This car is beautiful in every manner except for the rotted holes in the frame which is an easy fix for the person with a good torch, a grinder and a reciprocating saw. I don't have the tools or the place to do it or I would do it my self.
