1998 Lexus ES300 finished in Ruby Pearl over Ivory Leather. The car has only 46k miles and is in excellent condition. It has always been garaged, never used in the winter and is in like new shape. Purchased on July 24, 1998 at Lexus of Greenwich, CT for $37,420.70. It was optionally equipped with; CD-changer, moonroof, heated front seats, traction control, leather trim package with memory driver's seat, floor and trunk mats, and wheel locks for which I have the key. It was additionally ordered with a matching Ivory pinstripe, wood, and gold emblems which were popular at the time. Always kept clean and serviced on time, it looks and runs as it did when new. A particularly rare find due not only to the low miles but the extraordinary condition. The condition is amazing. Used as an extra car primarily for highway travel and garaged when not in use. I have kept a folder containing all maintenance that has been done on the car. I have all original keys plus credit card key. I also have the window sticker and original purchase documentation. The exterior of the car is almost perfect. The paint is bright and shiny and holds the same gloss and depth as when it was new. The finish on the car is excellent with no swirl marks, the car has been washed/polished by hand. There are no dings and barely a scratch. The only two scratches that I am aware of are a very light scrape on the left rear bumper and a hairline scratch on the rear fender that was professionally touched up and difficult to find even when you are looking for it. All of the paint on the body of the car is original. The rear bumper cover of the car had been re-painted due to being bumped from behind at a stoplight. The resulting damage was scuffing on the rear bumper cover only, it was an extremely light tap. I have a photo of the damage before the car was fixed by the dealer. I can send this photo to anyone who would like to see it. All of the plastic/rubber trim is in excellent condition with no drying or cracking. The windshield has one tiny chip which had been filled by Safelite auto glass. The rest of the glass is perfect. The headlight lenses and all lenses are crystal clear as new with no fogging. The rims are in excellent condition with no fading and very few rash marks. The interior of the car is also just about perfect. The leather is clean, soft and supple. It holds the same folds and tufting as when it left the factory. Only the faintest signs of wear upon close inspection of the driver's seat and hardly a mark on the other seats. The wood trim is bright and vibrant with no cracks or fading. The carpets are also in very good condition, they have never been shampooed. No smoking has taken place in the car, there are no strange odors. All interior lighting and instrumentation is working perfectly. Displays on the stereo and climate control etc. are working perfectly with no missing numbers or icons and no blackening of the readout. Every button works as it should; windows, sunroof, climate, A/C, cruise etc. The only item on the entire car that is not working correctly is the cd-changer as it will occasionally give an "error 1" code, everything else works perfectly. No check engine or dash lights now or ever. Mechanically the car runs perfectly and all services are up to date. The car runs, drives, and shifts as new. No deferred maintenance. All new struts within last 5k miles, new brakes and tires less than 10k miles ago. I have receipts of everything that has been done to the car. This car has been lovingly cared for and as a result is in truly rare condition. It is not in excellent condition for a car that is 13 years old, it is just in excellent condition for any car.
