1984 Honda Gold Wing

Up for bids is a 1984 Honda Goldwing GL1200I Interstate model, bike was recently rescued after sitting for 5 years The Good Completely gone through front to back mechanically including, new fork seals, new timing belts, front and rear brakes rebuilt and new fluid, carbs rebuilt and fuel tank flushed, new battery. The paint shines like new and has normal wear for a bike of this age. Most of the chrome shines well, but there is some light pitting and surface rust on a few of the components. Radiator has been flushed and fresh oil change in motor and rear diff. K&N air filter installed. Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread and no dry rotting. Runs great and is ready for long trips. Hydraulic clutch has been cleaned and fresh fluid. Your choice of stock seat in great shape or aftermarket seat pictured(can decide at pick up) The Bad There is some staining from batterry on muffler(may come off), the bottom of the trunk has some significant cracking where mounting bolts are and has been repaired in the past(common for this model), radio is missing but original speakers and wiring still present, there is some double face tape adhesive residue on the trunk and saddlebags(previous owner had gaudy chrome accents stuck all over and I removed them, a detail shop should be able to get it off, but I didn't want to mess up paint). Front fender has holes drilled in and chipping paint at bottom rear for chrome accents I removed. Left lower fairing pocket tends to open at highway speeds and could use a new door. There is some aluminum oxidation on the valve covers and timing belt covers. Left mirror is missing in pictures, but a replacement is on the way(mount was worn out). Overall a very nice original GL1200 that looks great and runs great and is road ready with low miles. In person inspections are welcomed and encouraged.
