Vehicle Detail
I had this Scout for 1 year. When I got it, it passed Utahs Safety and Emissions so the work I did to it was all cosmetic. And here is what I've done. Very little Bondo work, ripped out the interior, cut out the rusty metal and welded in new sheet metal. Then rolled in a bed liner throughout the inside so now you don't need to worry about rain or mud with the top off. The rear seats are in excellent condition. The front bucket seats are in good shape, but they have seat covers on them. All the seats have seat belts. All the glass is good. I painted the exterior with a high quality tractor spray paint. This way is if you get a scratch in the paint you can take it home and paint it back to new for less than a buck. I will even through in a couple of cans of paint for you. As far as I know the only problems or things it need are a transfer case mount, power steering hose $40, and some minor electrical. The transfer case knuckle , when in 4 wheel drive, taps a part of the frame. I was told all I need is a new mount. And the interior dash lights are out. I tried to take out the CD player and now they won't work. They worked before. And could use some new shock pretty soon. It has the 304 V8 with a 3 speed manual trans. Shifts just fine. It is set up for air conditioning, it just isn't hooked with a belt. I don't know if it works but everything is there. One key lock all the doors and rear door. Pretty rare. It has a spring over lift with 33" tires. Custom front and rear bumpers. The rear bumper has a receiver for a hitch. The rear driver panel is the only part with significant dents. This Scout is probably 97% rust free. I get a lot of attention with this rig. It has been a great vehicle. The auction winner is responsible for shipping or pick up.
