Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1972 Triumph 650 TR6R Tiger. This is my 4th Meriden Triumph twin over the last 35 years. It runs great and looks fantastic. It has matching numbers and I have a clean Maryland title in my name in hand. This is the last year of the 650cc, 4 speed, painted fenders and chrome trim on center mount tank. The sometimes maligned O.I.F. is a much better frame for anyone who actually wants to ride the bike. I have put 4K on the bike in the 3 years I have owned it. I'm selling it to make time for another project. Work done: Less than one year on paint by Classic Motorcycle Painting in South Bend, Indiana. Paint is flawless. Craig McClothlan is the best painter of classic bikes around. Polychrome Blue and Alaska White were supplied by Don Hutchinson. .Mechinical and electrical work done by Myer's Cycle. Owner operator Steve Silverman began his career working for famous Triumph dragster builder Sonny Routt in the early !970's. He knows Triumph twins. Top end was rebuilt at 18K by the previous owner. I don't have receipts for the work, but the seller gave me no reason no tto believe him. Motor does not leak or smoke. This wouldn't be the case with a Triumph wiyh 23K miles. Seat covered with new OEM cover by John Longo Motorcycle seats. New Parts,e.t.c. All parts except exhaust headers from Baxter Cycle. Front and rear K-70s with nobs still showing. Lucas blinkers, ignition. New Yuasa battery Drive chain and fork gators New Euro bars and and cables. Bars look great with the larger 4 gallon Tiger tank. Lower bars make for much better handling. Recent O.E.M. exhaust pipes. Original mufflers in good condition. One quarter size ding on the inside of left muffler that's completely hidden from view.On May-01-11 at 16:30:11 PDT, seller added the following information: For sale is my 1972 Triumph 650 TR6R Tiger.
