this is a 2001 honda accord lx model. i recently bought the car from my customer . i own a repair facility in maryland and have been servicing the car regularly since he purchased it. during his last oil change i informed him that one of the oil seals was leaking behind the timing belt. he opted not to fix it, and instead purchased another honda. i bought this honda from him and proceded to do all the work . we just did the timing belt, water pump, all new belts and also the three engine seals behind the timing cover. front crankshaft seal, balance seal, camshaft seal , and we also did the oil pump seal. anyone who knows hondas , know that the timing belt being replaced every 100k is usually the only big thing required to keep them going a long time. the car runs and drives 100%, with no issues. the only thing we found a problem with is the left rear door lock does not work automatically. you have to reach back to unlock it. it has a set of goodyear eagle tires on it , all having about 60-70% tread life left. the inside is in very good condition. the blue cloth seats are spotless, the carpet is also in very good shape. the outside is in very good condition with only a few tiny marks. including the mark on the right front lower bumper cover. the car is maryland state inspected. to everyone who doesnt live here it only means its been thouroughly gone over. before we get tags we have to take to a certified inspection facility and they check everything. glass, lights, brakes, suspension, exhaust, tires, etc.... the only thing they could find to fail were the wipers. i replaced them and now i have the certificate. i have the paperwork , its a long list of stuff they check. i will gladly fax a copy if you would like.
