This is a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport coupe. I purchased this with the goal of restoring this car, but I have lost interest. I am selling this with no reserve. This is a rare car. I am interested in selling the car and all the extra parts together. The 260 v8 engine runs pretty good. I have tuned it up, but it has old gas in it. You will have to drive it this way to burn it out, or drain it and start again. The choke is not hooked up and you will need to warm it up for a few minutes to drive it. The automatic transmission works fine. The car was originally a 3 speed car. The shifter and shifter bezel I do not think are original type for this car. It does have the console between the bucket seats which I believe to be original. I have went through the brakes. They are fine. The body is going to need work. Take a look at the pictures, or better yet take a look at the car before you bid. Both quarter panels are rusty. The right fender is rusty at the bottom. The floor boards were redone sometime in the past. They are solid, not a quality job. The The shock towers are solid. The battery tray has been replaced. This car can be driven as is, or tear it down and turn it into a jewel. The interior is usable. The headline is in good shape. The seats will need to be recovered. The door panels and dash are in good shape. The am/fm/8 track do not work. The truck is full of more stuff for the car. Lots of extra trim, alluminum rocker trim, exta carb, fender skirts, instument cluster, steer wheel trim, door panels, rear allumimum bezels, chrome piece for the back of the trunk which is not installed in the picture, visors, and well more stuff that I have not listed. I am a car dealer in Ohio and you must pay sales tax if it applies to you. I will deliver a good title for the car. The odometer works. The mileage listed may or may not be accurate. I am selling it as miles unknown. This car is sold "as is". That means no warranty. You may be able to drive this home, but I would reccomend a trailer. After all this car is almost 50 years old. Oh one more thing. This is a real acution with no reserve, no games. Please be prepared to pay for the car once you win the bid.
